First Car Show

This was my first car show. I placed top 10 out of about 150 to 175 cars. I could not stay for all the awards as I had to run my daughter to work. I had a lot of explaining to do as there were so many people interested in my car ( they could not believe that I built this car). The day before I had my out of province inspection, passed and now I have a legal car to drive (Mobil 1 completed my out of province inspection). The Mendeola transaxle is such a nice gear box to drive. I have just over 100 Km on the car now and I love it. The car is not 100 completed, I have the roof liner, back wiring to loom, and some on the front. This has been a great experience and I would also like to thank all the member on this forum for the help over the last three years (3 years and 2 months was my build). I can not forget the staff at Factory Five, thank you as well for the support and supporting your product. Paint was done by a local company, Outlaw Collision - Corvette velocity yellow and corvette black.

Congratulations on the win! Yellow is not my favorite color normally but I have to say your choice of color combinations with the black roof and all looks very distinctive. I like it!! I'm sure you are going to be noticed a lot, especially by the police and highway patrol! Good luck getting all the finishing touches on your ride.

You finished top 10 even though the car is not 100% complete. The competition better watch out when your 100% done. Wait does that ever happen?
