I know I keep posting but can't help it. 3 years of build up for me.
This is the longest I've had the engine running. I smelled a sweet burning as I pulled it into the garage. Hopefully this is just the new gaskets settling in. But hey, it works! Power steering is fine, brakes are fine. Engine still runs a bit choppy especially under hard acceleration. But that's a problem for another day. For now, I'm enjoying this small victory of a drive around the neighborhood.

Hey the first time that huge bunch of parts you put together into a car runs down the road is huge! Congratulations!!

Congrats! Any go-cart drive without flames or a tow strap is a success. It's great feeling to move, turn and stop.

That was pretty fast. I thought there might be a slight delay between "Air Kart" and Go Kart". Evidently you became inspired and motivated! Now your wife won't be able to keep you out of the thing!
Good luck,
WEK.

Absolutely awesome!!! Good job on getting to this milestone. Loved the "chase-cam" video, too. Things like this serve as a great inspiration to other builders and wannabes, so thanks for posting.
