I know you FFR guys must have been asked a thousand times, but are there any plans to do a Lancia Stratos on the 818 chassis? With a 95" wheelbase, 818 kgs, and a rally bred WRX engine, it seems like such a no-brainer. Given the thousands of Stratos fans out there salivating over the thought of building one for less than the cost of a Honda Civic, I think it would be a massive hit. Finally, in choosing between a classic, beautiful Group 4 rally car, and a "nice" roadster designed by some contest winner, I think the Stratos option would be the clear winner. I know I would be ready with cash in hand if you produce this option for the 818.

Edit: I just want to add that I wouldn't expect it for $9995. $12,995 would be perfectly reasonable, and you could call it "Group 4"!

At this point I think it's a long shot, but anythings possible.
I've lusted after a Stratos for a long time also, but for this car - with it's focus on handling and a already set 95" wheelbase - I don't think it's the right project.
The Stratos's extremely short wheelbase made it a handful for professional rally drivers, I'm not ready for that level of concentration in a street car. Maybe others are.

The 'new' Stratos has a nearly 95" wheelbase (94.5" or something). If FFR does the 'multiple bodies' thing, as has been postulated, I could see a Stratos option working. I think one drawback to going Stratos only would be its a fixed market. There may indeed be 'thousands' of guys that would buy such a kit, but then what? The Stratos is somewhat a 'love it or hate it' design. For the 818 to really succeed, it needs to draw potential new customers each time one drives down the road. So I only see a Stratos working if its an option, not the only option.

I wouldn't mind a Stratos type design. As long as it's a fun to drive car and a little bit more inspired than the "Cobra"/Roadster inspired design.
None of the designs I've seen so far seem "supercar".
I don't know rallye enough to know what "Group 4" means, but I've always lusted after the crazy overpowered mid-engined "Group B" type rallye cars. Ford RS-200, and the like.
