Hello All,
Just joined the forum and looking to build a Type 65 Daytona Coupe. Anyone in the south NJ area with one? Would like to see one up close and ask some questions.

Here's a bump for you. You might also want to post your request in the Coupe forum...

Thanks Doug, 1st can I fit in the Type 65, is it the same chassis as the Cobra...I am 6 foot, 200 lbs. What level of skills do you need to complete the car, I am an average level mechanic. What was the most difficult part of the build? Do you track your car and how does it handle there.

Welcome to the madness.
You will fit fine. I am 6'3" and fit without an issue. Seat selection and pedal set up it very important as to how comfortable you will be in the car. The coupe will work well as a street/track car. Please feel free to give em a call and we can talk over set ups and what would work best for you. 520-494-2745

Wow you have done alot with the FFR! I current do HPDE with a 1995 M3, advanced group and would like to get into racing with the Daytona. Looks like you have alot of racing experience too.
I will give you a call over the weekend. Why did you choose FFR vs the other replicas?

I chose them because they were the best bang for the buck, still are. Also is a well designed base to work from and it can be tailored around how you want to use it.
