This is a head's up notice for new or soon to be builders. I received my kit in July and the clutch quadrant was on back order so I only learned of the important changes yesterday while talking to FFR about the package I had just received. I knew the clutch had changed and even saw a picture of it...but now the good stuff:

The new clutch uses a new DS front footbox panel because it utilizes the clutch cable hole directly in front of the clutch pedal. The traditional offset hole is not cut out or needed. Also, the pedal assembly uses a new mount bracket for the master cylinders and pedals.

So if you are like me and have completed the steering, brakes, and pedals you will now have to remove all of that, re-drill the new panel perfectly, re-bleed the brakes (after drilling out the clips to get the hard line back through the panel), re-install the brake resevoir, paint the new panel, etc.

I'm a little annoyed at it, but still having too much fun to really care. I just hope this saves someone else the trouble!

I just ran into the exact thing. Made the choice to go with a hydraulic clutch which did not require me to redo any of the work you just described. Just had to pull out the credit card once again.
