818 axles pre 8/2003 2004 sedan donor

Ok I have ran into a problem.
My donor is a 2004 wrx sedan. My front inner axles are NOT the tri-lobe.
Ffr has told me I need to use the trilobe axle set but the ones that I bought from napa were trilobe for 2004.
When I took the napa ones apart I found the ffr axles were the wrong spline count so they would not fit into the trilobe.
Does anyone know what part number napa part I need to buy?
I have male parts coming out of the transaxle and I punched out the pin that holds the axles in the transaxle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

good luck, we've all been there. I bought my 02 axles at NAPA and they were correct, rebuilt OEM as my NAPA guy indicated (I have an 05 donor but went with the early Quaife LSD that needs the stub axles) I also purchased a set that did not have the correct splines... $ down the drain once you take them apart!

Many people have went through this problem, it is hit or miss finding OEM axles

You must get the factory Subaru axels. NOT aftermarket axels from napa or any body else!

I bough all of the rebuilt axles that the local Orielys had and finally got the one inner that I was short. You have to find rebuilt beacaus all of the new ones are wrong. And not all of the tri lobe appear the same on the outside.
