Hey! For the last couple weeks I have been doing some extensive research into this kit car stuff. So far this is awesome! I am 26 years old, and I live in Oromocto, NB. I am a soldier working at CFB Gagetown. I love the idea of building my very own car. I have been looking online at the GTM, I love it. The other one I like is the roadster, beautiful cars. Only problem I have with the roadster is that there is no top, and I want a top on my car, another reason why I am leaning toward a GTM.
I am really wondering if there is anybody who has a FF car, that they built around me, be it Fredericton, or any other surrounding area. I am still quite new to NB, so I don't know the areas that well.
I grew up in NS, born and raised in the Annapolis Valley.
Another topic that makes me wonder about these kit cars, is registration and insurance.
Unfortunetly, I am bogged down with bills from my motorcycle, car, line of credit, blah blah blah, so buying one of these cars is not affordable right now. But in 2 or 3 years, I will own one. How hard is it to get a loan from the bank to purchase a kit car, would it be any harder then getting a loan for anything else?
Anyway, everyone take it easy.
