My mom turns 85 next month. I just had my 62nd birthday. My sister (ten years younger) writes:
Yesterday I took Mom on a day trip to Natural Bridge Caverns. We had a great time, though the tour was sometimes steep, damp,and a bit slippery. That evening, I said to my husband,"I realize it's rather risky to do this with Mom." He replied, "Today I made nursing home visits. Everybody was safe, but no one wanted to be there."
I hope to have lots more adventures with Mom.
