Hi Has anyone used any adhesive or double sided tape to attach the alum panels to the powder coated frame? I am thinking about 3M VHB tape. All this drilling and riveting is going very slow. Seems like there should be a more modern way to do this.

I did it on a coupe several years ago. But I used the VHB as a substitute for the silicone, not for the rivets. Consequently, the appearance is the same but i felt the bond was stronger. The next build used Breeze's panel bonding adhesive which I found easier than using the tape. I'm not comfortable trying to use an adhesive to replace the rivets.
