Hey all,

Definitely confused as to what FFR does and doesn't supply with their seat/frame. I ordered the optional Kirkey with my 818R and it doesn't seem to come with frame mounts of any kind. I don't need rails....this is my race car to drive :) those who I share with can deal with it.

Does anyone know:

-What hardware FFR provides
-What hardware you need to mount the seat
-The "best" places to mount on
-Any useful tips

You guys are great; thanks!
Frank

I'm not using a Kirkey seat as thy are rather large and take up more room than other seats, but for mounting I have replaced the existing aluminum floor with an 1/8" steel floor and thus can bolt the seat mount anywhere. I will be using a Recaro slider with a Planted offset seat mount, the slider is bolted to floor and the seat mount mounted to slider and mount bolts to sides of Ultrashield seat.

I am running the Kirkey seats. I purchased Kirkey mounting brackets from Summit Racing. I had to weld in some additional flat stock in order to mount the seats where I wanted them.
