Time to have some fun. Here are some repeat questions that I have received since starting the project. Let’s read yours!
What colour are you going to paint it (as they slide their greasy hands all over your body work)?
How fast does it go?
How much horsepower does it have?
Are you going to race it?
When is going to be finished?
Wow, is that the Bat Mobile?!
Can I take a picture of it?
Why is the engine in the back?
Where is the engine?
Is this an electric motor (as they stare under the hood and look at the fans/wires)?

At an ice cream stand the other night and a guy around 40 years old walks up and asks "Is this a kit car? " immediately followed before I could answer "is it Volkswagen powered"?

Gary funny you say that I have had the same thing happen. I like to sit back and listen at car shows. More then once I have had to correct a few people that told others that it was VW powered.

My "favorite" question is... "When will it be finished?"
My "next favorite" is... "Is it a GT Race car?"
People really seem surprised when I tell them that not only is it street legal, but it will rarely ever see a track.
Go Figure...

I was having my car teched for an event and the guy said, "your flux capacitor seems to be working fine!". It was my windshield wiper motor which was not hooked up to an arm. I apparently bumped the wiper control getting out of car so I just had this motor with a strange plate on top spinning in circles, good stuff!
