The snow finally melted in time for a nice first official go-kart ride. I need to bleed the brakes one more time, but then I'll get the body on hopefully next weekend, and be ready for a summer in gelcoat in a few weeks.

I was happy I hadn't put my carpet in as I got 1/2 way down the drive and got a nice "pebble shower". I did about 5 runs, a couple alone to make sure nothing blew up or fell off, and then took the wife and 2 daughters for a run up the street and back.

I should report that the seat heaters and summit big btu heater made a big difference, even with the ds footbox still open and no body on. My wife commented how warm it was. When we did the runs, it was close to 50 degrees, and the sun was low in the sky.

MY wife was nice and supportive! I was just happy nothing fell off and it didn't blow up! ;->

Very awesome, congrats. Nice view, by the way. Love that area, used to live near Kalispell as a kid and would love to by some big land to retire on, but doubt the wife would go for that far from 'civilization' (whatever that means nowadays:).

Thanks. We're 8 miles out, just outside Bozeman, which is a little more temperate than up North, but man, the Winter's get loonnnngggg. It snowed most of last week, so I'm about over that. Sure is pretty though...

That's right. If you wait a couple of weeks though, we can go for lunch in it!
