This isn't intended as an ad, and I hope that I am not violating any forum vendor rules by posting this.
A local Subaru shop I have done a fair bit of business with since I started the 818 pursuit is ALL Pro Subaru. I was there on Friday, and noticed that they had 2 sets of aluminum front LCAs which were salvaged from 2006 sedans. It seems as thought many of us are on the lookout for these and so I thought I would mention it prior to them going on Ebay.

Also if you aren't aware, you can get these arms new for $300 from
WebParts@SubaruPartsWarehouse.com
Part Number Part Description Quantity Core Price Price Total
B2010FE251DS Aluminum Arm Kit 1 $0.00 $302.64 $302.64
They come complete with the ball joint, bushings etc.
For reference, B2010FE251DS is the WRX version. Part numbers for the aluminum arms on the STI are:
20202FE900
20202FE910
Best I've seen is $220/each if you search the web, and they also come with ball joints, etc.
I'm sure the 818 was designed around the WRX version, but the extra caster on the STI arms seems to help some with rubbing of front tires at full lock. I posted a picture somewhere that shows the difference.
Just presenting options.

Boog, that pic might be in my build thread. If I had to do it again, I'd likely opt for the STI version of the arms, but that is largely because I had already purchased the previously recommended 45 series tire size. I had to slide the rear mount of the wrx version LCA outboard and insert a 3/8" spacer between the steel pivot and the arm itself with longer bolts to match, and a little modding of the upper a arm in order to control most of the rubbing. Then a 5 mm spacer in the steering rack to limit travel to stop all rubbing. The STI arms would have saved me some trouble. Perhaps not as much effort will be needed with the 40 series rubber now recommended in front? What I have yet to see as a final deciding factor between the arms is how these changes I made help or hurt the front wheel visual centering in the wheel well. I'm not there yet, and haven't looked at other builds to check that aspect. If the extra caster hurts the look, more steering limit might be a more aesthetic option, perhaps? I'll comment on that in my build when I see how that turns out.
