Can you list any upgrades, thoughts, ideas, or suggestions that would help to install a FE motor in a MkIV
Any thing that you guys have came up with that may be of interest to the FE powered Roadster.. post it , please.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in since it was addressed to FFR techs. I built a roadster when I was 16 on a Corvette chassis with Devin body. I put a BBC in it (396). In order to do that we had to set it back 10 inches and down 6 inches to fit under the body. The reason I mentioned this is that a little movement of the BBF by modifying the engine mounts could really help to relieve a number of issues that make the job difficult. I was thinking of moving it forward a little and down a little. That could open up some possibilities for the foot boxes initially. It might make the transmission choice and shifter location better as well. Also, low CG is good. Good luck, WEK.
