Spindle options?

Starting my MKIII FFR build.

I have an excelent 2003 mustang cobra donor car with Stoptech trophy front disc brakes. I am not sure if the stoptech brakes will fit the 15" wheels I have for the FFR therefore i may just leave them on the donor to keep it as a clear title roller.
Where can I source a set of spindles for my cobra other then from a wreck?

You can buy spindles from FFR or, most likely, any auto parts supplier - including Ford. You may also want to check with some of the other vendors here, such as Forte's and Breeze.

As for fitment, the 15" wheels will be pretty limited in what will fit behind them. You may want to make a template or check with Stoptech to see if they have one available. I recently received a template from Baer that allowed me to verify that their modified SVT brakes with cut-down rotors (12" instead of 13") will still not clear the 15" wheels.

thanks for the info. Just realized that FF sell everything i need.

After looking at the brakes on the donor, they will not fit. They are massive and barely clear the 17" Steeda wheels.

Good news is i keep the mustang as a clear title full roller.... bad news is i need to buy spindles and brakes :)
