I'm looking for some ideas on accessing the balance bar after the body is on. Any good suggestions?

You can make a hole in the footbox top or make the whole panel detachable.

Fred,

Lots of folks make the mod described above and now you can actually order a modified panel from FFR which is what I did.

I cannot remember how much it was and you have to call since I do not thinks it is actually in the catalog.

Wilwood sells a flex cable that connects to the balance bar and a knob, mounted in the cockpit somewhere, for adjusting the bar. I installed this and it looks good and works, but I can't tell any difference in the braking regardless where I set the bar....

That's not good.

I did the mod also and installed revnuts to make the on/off process easier. Now that the body is on, it doesn't look like it's going to be as easy getting it off as planned. Access is very restricted to the top of the foot box with the body on. WEK.
