I have been fighting the doors for countless hours. I have them with good gaps, the body lines are good, but when opening the doors they rub the fenders when not fully open. I have trimmed the fenders as much as I can. I think the only option is to have the door skin set inward more and off the body lines by some amount, I have attached a few pictures, and was hoping someone could provide any other thoughts on how to avoid the rubbing. Thank you in advance.

Look at ffrs green car. The rear lip on the fender is non existent.

Something doesn't seem quite right. In your picture number 2, my gap is closer to 3/1 to 1 inch. They are no where near touching. I think you need to bring the bottom of the door way in. I don't think the door and the fender are meant to be on the same plane. Kinda like the first generation Viper.

Thanks, I was putting the bottom of the door just in from the fold line on door threshold, if I move it in it will be off that fold, might be okay, but was trying to keep on the body lines. Body line from fender to door on top and bottom of door on fold line on threshold. I am thinking I have no real choice but to move the bottom of the door in.

I left my door out as I liked it matching the body line as well. My driver door needs more tweaking as it still hits.

I cut my fender gap more like the red FFR car, and Erik's and several others after us . It actually flows much air through this area from the top of the inside of the fender and out. The way I have it, the door opens much further and it looks more like a vent that actually flows air.
