Does anyone have any experience with the FFR tanks as far as filling them and having the fuel nozzle shut off automatically? I am considering using the vapor canister and see that the stock Subaru tank uses multiple vents. It appears that a center vent gets closed when the tank is half full and 2 auxiliary vents go to a shut off valve when the filler nozzle is inserted. That would cause the tank to pressurize while filling and click off the fill nozzle(as it should due to backpressure). The replacement tanks do not have any feature like that they just vent continually. I guess my question is will the tank filler overflow?

My personal experience with 3 different FFR cars is none of them you can leave the nozzle shut off automatically. I have always had to add fuel slowly and watch to shut it off. Not like an OEM tank at all IMO.

Huh, that's funny. The shut off worked without a problem on my Mk3. That was a donor tank, but the fill tube shouldn't be any different since even that was just a tube from FFR. I'll have to keep an eye on this first time I fill up my 818 (spring 2015??).

The MK's and coupe use a OEM style mustang tank. The 33 and 818 do not. I think that is the difference IMO.
