I'm ready to get a rear. I was told I needed to get a mustang rear between 1987-1993 with 59.25" flange to flange, it looks like Forte's dimension is 59.50". Could Forte's rear housing be from an Explorer between 1991-1994 or Explorer 1995-2001? Would the tube diameter be different?

A quarter inch in width won't make any difference. My rear from Mike with 3.73"s is great. With 450hp it gets up and goes!
