We have ffr 4541, mark II and recently visited factory five and saw the 818 and really like it. I know that at least one right hand drive has been built, I am starting to think that I may want to do that type of build, anyone else thinking same if so does anyone low what extra work is required?

Thanks

Jim

Hi Jim, go for it! It should be pretty straight-forward... just check option box 80771 and pay an extra $799 ;) (RHD option). The only thing I can think of is the shifter arm angled to the wrong side, this is noticeable on the green Wilwood car. I would guess almost everything else would be similar to a LHD 818.

You could search for Flamshackle and send him a PM. He is building an 818 in New Zealand.

You can press apart the shifter handle and reassemble differently if you wanted to.

If you source the donor in RHD the steering rack and the gearbox will both point to the correct side, the right!
I'm building a RHD in Australia, and had the kit delivered, but too early to discover any problems
