I will be doing some wood saw cutting in my garage and I am concerned that if the coyote engine orifices are not covered, foreign debris (FOD) may enter the engine and cause some damage to the engine later on. Can anyone identify what orifices need to be covered? I've attached for reference a link below to David Borden’s coyote engine photograph.

As wood dust tends to get everywhere, you may want to cover the entire engine with something similar to the plastic wrap/bag the engine was shipped with (as how it arrived)

Jester,

Okay, then once I begin to install the headers and oil pan I should keep those orifices covered, yeah?
I’ll be installing the new stainless steel headers and the Moroso oil pan in about a week.

Thanks for your response,

Yes - tape off all openings
