Anyone have any pics of what they did for these. I've had some try to explain it to me, but they don't call me "lowest common denominator" for nothing.

I gathered that the MK4 already has the side front and rear body mounts, now attaching under the body, so they are not visible like earlier models??

The sides are now under the rockers, the rears are like the MK 1-2-3 and the fronts now do double duty as overrider mounts. So, I still need pics if someone has done it

Joe, I ended up not doing it on mine, but on the front guys have used perferated binding studs like used on an undermount sink and bonded them to the body. See if this link works http://www.mcmaster.com/#studs/=btviqx
You then need to cut a slot in the front mounting plate on the frame downward and towards the front so that when you put the body up the studs can slide up into the holes and get locked down.
On the back, the same type of binding stud can be used, but then you need something to mount to the frame with. I have a couple spacers that I had made up and didn't use that are tapped on both sides so you can screw them to the binding stud, put the body on, and then come into them through the frame to lock it down. I never used them, if your interested in them shoot me a PM and they are yours.

Scott, the Mk4 won't work in the front as you described, but you just gave me a heck of an idea. I'm going to give myself a headache thinking about it then I'll do a mockup.

FWIW, Mark at Breeze has a QJ delete kit that has the right length frame-side hardware. His kit (which I think he's working on still) has the button head bolts on the outside of the body, but I'm using the rest of it to adapt to an easy hidden mount setup (not quite there yet.) I will be using it with the MC binding studs.

Joe, let me know if you want me to send up the parts I originally had made up for the back. They are just taking up space in the tool box right now.

Scott, I ordered the stuff I thought I'd need but I short counted the spacers, so I don't have any for the back. If you have surplus, I'll certainly accept your gracious offer. I'll PM the address.
