I plan on keeping the motor stock and concentrate on handling. Powdercoating frame orange and going with my "old" orange/white/orange paint scheme. Big thing I am trying to decide upon is whether to go single or dual seats. It's gonna be street legal, mainly for testing purposes, which in NH gives me a lot of leeway.

Wow, with that kind of experience I look forward to seeing what you're going to do with the 818.

Welcome.

With all these FFR cars built, the 818 can't take you more than 2 weeks to build. lolll

Sounds exciting! I am putting handling ahead of HP in my 818SR build as well at least as my starting point. Sounds like you are building yours as a 818RS.

Can we get away with the track windshield in NH?

Happy Fourth of July!

From what I read, windshield has to be 11" high. I may need to make a custom one a bit taller than what comes with it. I'll keep you posted. I just want it street legal enough so as to be able to test it before towing 6 hours.
