I have been working on getting the body panels set, I have good gaps, except the gap at bumper and rear engine cover, see pics. I have the humped lid flush with the door opening, the side panels even and centered the rear tires in the openings..... and front is good.... Do I have to except larger gaps for the deck lids? Any thoughts? I would like to get 1/4 inch out... Thanks

You need to split the difference between the rear hatch and engine cover. This is not a great photo to show you but you can get the idea.

My panels ended up fitting nicely after some fitting, filling and tweaking. You have to fill the rear bumper top edge about 3/16 and split the difference with the rest of them. Also it's a good idea to support the rear section with extra glass, a support etc to stiffen it up and help hold it's shape. I am also adding in my own touches. Rage gold, ever coat fiber fill and a few others are great for filling edges and sand good to.

Thanks, that helps. I am making progress, but this part has been very slow.

Make sure you set the fore aft rocker at 5/8". Not including the forward flange in the front. The flange seems to be cut off in the manual. And they measure from the outside edge of the rocker itself. This was the gap problem on mine

If the CF spoiler is used, does it take up any of the gap between the trunk lid and the bumper?

the spoiler is not CF, only black fiberglass, no it doesn't, it fits over the rear clip edge only
