My MK4 is scheduled for completion june 21st!

Well it's all paid for and scheduled for completion this Saturday June 21st! I have heard some others waiting as much as 3 weeks... I hope that is not the case... Starting to feel like Christmas time when I was 5... :cool:

Stewart transport said everything is good... So we'll see...

A good piece of advice I received was to call Stewart and verify the dates the week of completion. My Roadster was completed the 7th but the driver has had delays and what was to be delivered last week will not make it to me until Friday at the earliest. If I hadn't been in touch with Stewart I'd be going crazy. As it is, I'm just anxious!

Hope the wife was understanding! You're lucky you have a garage. I am starting building a garage this next week, and my Mk4 completion date was 14 June!

Looks like there are several of us with June 21 as a Completion date... It will be interesting to see the order in which they are delivered... I'm in the Great State of TX so I imagine I will be one of the last... we'll see but I think as mentioned the Key is stay on top of it! I plan to call to verify the Car will be ready to go on the 22nd. and then Get a Pickup date from Stewart...etc I think not assuming its handled, and staying on top of the communication is the Key...

I got the same call from Steward last night. It's my understanding that there are two kit to be delivered to Florida and another two bound for Alabama. I expect my kit to be here on Monday, the 23rd. My Coyote engine came yesterday. See you guys on your Build thread.

I'll post some pictures later today. Got the baby tucked into the crib in the garage!

The driver had one of the first FIA 289's on the truck as well - very cool. I am amazed at just how simple and easy the delivery was. Bonus: I already unpacked the spindles!

Happy for you, but that seems fairly uncool for folks like me who already took delivery of spindle-less kits. :(

In re-reading my post I can see how that came off poorly. Sorry! I was just excited to see them in the package given all the delays recently. Maybe the good news is that your will be shipped soon if they are including them again.

On the minus side my side pipes were not included. I was looking forward to those as that is part of what makes the look so distinctive.

By the way, do a thorough inventory. I already found two small parts bags missing that the shipping order said were included.

Just called my guy at FF and he said All cars scheduled for 6-21 are done and ready for pickup? He said the inventory is true but will not effect the completion dates, but they have no control over Stewarts Delivery Dates... He said my car is on the rack waiting to be picked up. He even said he would send me a picture...

Spoke to Stewart Transport yesterday and they claimed that due to the Inventory, FF is not allowing them to pick up cars until next week so my Kit should be picked up next week and then 7-10 days. So second week of July Delivery...
