Shaved Door Release

Has anyone installed auto door release mechanism? If so, how many pounds of pull does the solenoid need to have? Is 35lbs. enough or do I need more?:confused:

Did you install any solenoid's yet? How many pounds did you decide on? I was wondering the same thing.

I just installed my doors and the latches are not hard to pull, I think guys are using 45lb solenoids which seem like plenty of pull.

I installed a 50 pound but beleive is too much. But leave some slack and put a spring to adjust

I have installed many and the small plastic 26 lb.units are more than needed.
