Under hood

What do you guys use to get smooth under side of hood. Do you duraglass it then sand it down.

That is what I did with my 33 and I will do the same with the type65.

Have you used this before with success? I was looking at it for the underside of the roadster hood.

I just used bondo, not duraglass, Took about a gallon but then most of it gets sanded off!:-)

duraglass is too hard to sand, lightweight body filler is the way to go.............

What about using truck bed liner on underside of hood?

I used that on most of my panels for the 33 & 818. But it won't be smooth.

I also did it on my under hood, Looks OK to me.
