I am helping a friend build a 33 HotRod. We are using a fuel injected LS3 motor. I don't know what fuel pump and regulator I need. I would to use an in-tank pump, but I don't want cut my tank open to install it. So, My question is what is the best set-up for this system. Also, does the return line come from the regulator or the fuel rail.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

LS3 needs 60 psi and is a "returnless" system, meaning the return line comes from the regulator. There are many options for fuel pump and regulator. I'm using a Walbro 392 pump and a LS1 fuel filter/regulator: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/LS1-Fuel-Filter-Fuel-Regulator-Kit,41791.html.

Nice article.
Be careful installing with LS3. It's only rated at 43.5 psi.

I think I'm going to use the Walbro 392 pump. That in tank pump is a little to pricey.

Thanks for the help, Larry
