Post Pictures of Your Gas Pedal Mounts

The FFR mount has been deemed insufficient by many. I'm starting to take a look at creating a mount for the gas pedal. I feel like it should be pretty stout and would rather over design it than worry it's going to shift or flex on track.

This is one of those instances where a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks for the help.

I used the FFR mount, but I put two pop rivets in the top since the pedal assy was not attached at all on the top, and used a smaller bolt on the bottom so it would not contact the firewall. It seems to be plenty sturdy.

I ended up reinforcing the bottom half of the FFR mount with some 1.75mm thick aluminum. I traced the current mount and cut on the inner edge of the tracing so that the reinforcement plate would be just a touch smaller than the actual mount. Then riveted the reinforcement plate to the backside of the FFR gas pedal mount. I also put 2 rivnuts on the top of the FFR mount to bolt it onto the frame with.

Feels very stout now and I'm happy with my first try at fabricating something, as simple as it was.
