View Full Version : Brake Booster / Plastic or urethane mocking engine block

Greetings, gang:

I did some measurements, and looked at a finished Coupe, and I'm concerned that my donor's brake booster/master cylinder set up will interfere with my ProCharger blower. I'd like to keep a booster, since my heavy-duty racing brakes will be difficult to use without one. My blower hangs out of the driver side of the engine.

Does anyone know of a brake booster that's compatible with the Fox body Mustang's system, and slimmer than the bulky donor's unit? As a bonus, it'd be nice if its diameter is also smaller, so it will clear the frame, although that's not a priority.

I'm also looking for a plastic 351W mocking engine block. I'll probably only use it for this build, and they are pretty expensive new. If someone has an used one they don't need anymore, or wouldn't mind lending, please let me know.

I'll appreciate any input on these. Thanks in advance.
