Hey there everyone, I am trying to locate someone that has a built or is in the process of building a roadster kit near the twin cities for my dad so he can see one in person. If anyone can point me in the right direction to getting this done I would greatly appreciated. Thank you

Almost 800 miles in gelcoat on #8184 up here in Hayward. 2 1/2 to 3 hours from the cities.

Several comments. For something as serious as this (and as much $$) I might be willing to drive a little to get the first hand knowledge you're looking for. But I guess that's just me. You might want to make a similar post over on the other forum (FFCars.com) as I think it gets quite a bit more traffic than this site. Also suggest spending time on both forums. Many threads and many pictures to get a real sense of these builds. There are also a number of build threads. Don't get lost in all the mods guys make (me included) as each build is different and you will decide what works for you. Mine is here FWIW: http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?8296-Mk4-7750-Build-Progress-Update. You can buy an assembly manual from FFR for $10. It's an instant download and a great way to get an overall feel for the build. Finally, go to YouTube and search for "Factory Five Mk4 Build Videos" There are 10+ videos showing various stages of construction that also give a good sense of the build. Good luck.
