How to connect fuel lines to fuel rail (5.0L EFI)

I've a 5.0L EFI engine with stock fuel rail and I'm attempting to connect to fuel lines I purchased at AutoZone.

Here are the two ends I need to connect:

Here's what I pulled off the Mustang fuel rail:

I also purchased braided lines from autozone but these don't look like they'll work on the stock fuel rail (but would work fine at the fuel line).

Any ideas?
