Soft top install

I was at HB so I got to sit in the 818 with the top and it looked like it was designed and constructed very well. It adds to the elegance of the car rather than detracting as some tops do. I'm sure you are pleased with it. I think yours is the first customer car I've seen one on. Good luck with it, WEK.

That looks great, add a finishing touch to the vehicle. I too saw the red car at HB and thought the quality was great.

Wallace18's advice came in very handy when installing my top. Read his thread before you start on it.

As others have said, the quality is very good. It's not as convenient as true folding convertible tops, but I think it's actually easier to put on and remove than the top on my 1990 Wrangler was. Storage is an issue of course.

Although it's a nice piece, it still doesn't feel like it should be as expensive as it is. Still, I prefer the look of the soft top over the coupe top.

I'm still planning on buying the coupe top eventually, but I think I'll use this more.
