Has anyone found a source for a set of nice looking hood louvers for their roadster. I am thinking of replacing my hood scoop with louvers to have a cleaner look. The hood scoop is not needed with my set up (Coyote).
I may end up ordering a new hood from FFR and installing louvers.
Any suggestions? - photos if possible.
Note: there is a typo in the title of this post - I am not looking for 4 louvers
Thx

Jester. If you like the GTM louvers Shane Vacek sells these that I just installed on my MkI http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?14398-Hood-Louvers&highlight=louvers And I'm sure he could customize you anything you wanted within reason.

Jester-
I am trying to locate a picture that I have for 1968 Shelby hood louvers, which can be found at:
http://www.maierracing.com/
Unfortunately, I can't find them on the website, but they do carry the louvers, but you need to call them and ask for the specific parts. As soon as I locate a good picture, I will post it for you here. They look really awesome, and there is at least one person who has used them on their Roadster. I hope they may post their pictures if I can't locate mine.
I am not sure if I helped or not.
Regards,
Steve

Thanks for the replies and pic's - good to see some options - look great.
I have seen louvers in person on a roadster but I have not seen the car in several years. If I see the roadster, I till take pictures and post.
Like all things roadster, louvers are a reflection of taste - it would be great to see what the louvers look like on an original.
Hopefully this thread can be added to overtime to illustrate what mods have done re louvers.
Thanks
Matt

I have the Maier Racing fiberglass louvers. Be aware that they take quite a bit of work to make them look good. Or at least my pair did.
