I have a 4.6 dohc 4 valve engine in my 33 Hot Rod, the issue is how and were do you run the throttle cable?
The engine is so wide it takes up the space that is normally used. so going thru the firewall at the pedal is not a option.

You might be able to go with a mechanical linkage for a part of it and then go to a cable ?

The supplied pedal isn't the greatest, but the arm is fully adjustable so I mounted the cable housing to the pedal box and run the cable up high through the firewall. Just slip the lever off the knurled shaft and rotate it until it pulls straight down on the cable. Works great.

Thanks for the ideas, I am sure I will be able to get it to work out now.
