I have been trying to change my avatar but can't see to find where I can do this. Help!

Click on Settings at the very top of the screen.

My problem is that when I do so, then click on Edit Avatar, it won't let me do it. In fact, I can't change any of my settings.

I took care of it for you. You should be able to post everywhere now and edit your profile.
