Hey everyone. I've been looking through these forums a lot the past few days, the 818 looks like an amazing project.

I'm just about to sell my supercharged Lotus Elise and I'm closing on my first house in July, just outside Buffalo NY.

I will be looking for my WRX donor this fall and will probably be on this forum every day until then reading through everyone else's build threads. I love how detailed so many people are being with all of the photos, I'm sure everyone's experience will really help my project move along.

Can't wait to start! :)

How did you drive your Elise (street/track)? That must have been an awesome ride. I saw a video of a guy giving instruction on how to enter and exit one. It seemed pretty tight! Good luck on your build when you get it. You have those long snowy winters up there in NY. I was there when there was 3 ft of snow. No body was very excited about it but being from the south, I had never seen that much snow except in pictures (I was young and impressionable).

I only really drove the Elise on the street but I did autoX it twice. It is a blast to drive but it's time to move on. The winters here are very long and cold but that also means I just have more time to work in the garage :)
