We lost our beautiful and faithful companion Molly late last year to sudden liver failure. It broke our hearts but we decided to honor her by making our next pup the same breed.

Introducing Ruby! We picked her out yesterday in a family outing to a reputable AKC breeder (NOT a puppy mill!) We are very happy, and she seems to be too! It was a very emotional experience for my wife Lesa, who learned that she really hadn't let go of Molly. Ruby will never be a replacement for Molly but letting this little bundle of energy into our lives will bring an all new adventure!

Ruby will make a great addition to the Hodgkins family. I see that she likes Grant.

Congrats and sorry to hear about Molly. She was awesome. Dogs are great. "They are not our whole lives, but make our lives whole."

Thanks guys. The first two nights were HARD, but we got a smaller crate and moved it inside the house and finally got some sleep last night!

Here's two more... Sorry, couldn't resist!

Always hard losing a furry four-legged family member. Sorry about your loss! Enjoy the new ball of energy! They are a lot of work, but it pays off :D
