Man, I like those colors. Saw your video too. I'm just a few weeks away from the first gokart, but that really lit a fire...

I went for the solid black with a metallic stripe. I can get a metallic stripe pretty even but I'm not sure I could paint an entire car metallic. You can get runs, but metallic runs are a repaint. I would recommend solid colors for beginners like me. I had one metallic run but it's under the rear license plate! :)
Oh and the stripe is a summit racing color called carbon fiber metallic. It almost has a bit of clear brown in it.
