don't settle for anything less than free for an oven... we made a deep door to increase the volume of the oven, making it as deep as it is wide... the lower drawer is the inside of the extended door, we used .050 aluminum sheet 1 in space and fiberglass insulation between...

Pictures, please. I just got done installing my 240V outlet in the garage a couple of hours ago, and tested my $50 oven. It works great. I'm planning to build an insulated box, so I can keep the main door open, and "cook" bigger items. Would love to see how you made yours deeper. Maybe I'll also try that.

On another note, I already have my Eastwood kit, which cost me a little more than that, but comes with 3 free coats, and everything else you need, sans the oven.

My oven was a curb side find the day before trash collections. It is the harvest gold, probably 25 years old but the oven functions. I checked the thermostat and found it to be needing adjustment.
