May 24-25 Team PDG will be running a pair of sprint races at Thunderhill. Long time veteran driver, Steve Zadig will be behind the wheel. Points did not go as calculated because of a couple of penalties, where I thought we ended up second overall in points, left us at P4 on the final results. We are trying some new stuff with Steve as he will attempt to beat our team's personal lap best time. We are confident that he will be in the 1:40.xx this weekend. New brake package and new Hoosier slicks are in order to find out if this will be our competitive ticket into the 25! The 25 is only 6 months away and expect a very competitive line up this year!
Mike Holland will be driving an June 7 at Butonwillow, Ca. for a WERC 3 hour event. He will be tuning up what we learned on the May races. Chris (former PDG driver) and his SLC will be there to make this outing a very exciting race: start to finish! Team PDG is leading the series in points while Chris trailing by 90.
All are welcome to come out and help or just hang out to see how exciting endurance racing is!
