It has been a long 3 years of engine troubles...that are now coming to a close. The 408 has been completely disassembled and rebuilt by a true professional and is sitting in the Dyno shop as I write this. The poor thing has endured a lot and it is now time to see it shine. :)
For anyone who is free, the dyno party will commence at 11:00am Monday the 19th at Clegg Automotive Machine in Lindon.
Any guesses at what it will produce?
The highlights are:
Eagle 4" forged internally balanced crank
Scat forged I beam rods (to keep the weight down)
Mahle forged flat top pistons (to keep the weight down)
AFR 205 heads with 2.08"/1.6" valves
Comp Pro Magnum Rockers
Howard's Linked Bar Lifters
Custom Ed Curtis Billet Cam (.605" IN/.574" EX)
Fully Ported Edelbrock Air Gap Intake
QuickFuel Q-750-AN Carburetor
