Can someone tell me the size (length/width) of the chassis (with the body temporarily attached) as delivered from FFR?

I just want to see if it will fit in my enclosed telescope trailer.

I read that thread, but unfortunately it does not have the answer. It hints that someone knows the actual dimensions of the as shipped chassis with panels, but does not actually disclose such details. There are numerous suggestions about minimum truck size, but those all include the boxes.

I just need to move the chassis separate from the boxes a mile or two, and I wanted to see if it will fit in a small trailer I have.

Thanks for the help in locating that thread however!

Hey Jeff,
I don't know if this will help you but I rented an open 12' trailer from U-haul to transport my 818 and it had about 2" of clearance on each side and about 6" of clearance on the front and back. Maybe you could call U-haul and get the internal dimensions of one of their trailers and compare it you yours?

that would make it appx 5'8 x 11' That width seems accurate but I don't remember it being quite that long...

that's a 10' 2x10 on the drivers side... my guess overall 10'8.5

Here's how it fits in a U-Haul 6 x 12 open trailer.

29192

I picked up my kit from the Stewart warehouse in Phoenix and they lowered it in from above with a inch or two on each side. When I got home, however, the opening at the back was too narrow to use the ramp. I had to remove the body parts before I could roll the dolly down the ramp. The tailgate is not 6 feet wide!

Yep, I had to do the same, except in the rain. The 6" clearance front and back is more of an estimate, it could've been slightly more
