I am considering replacing the manual steering rack.

Any recommendations for the proper PS pump for an AGR rack for my MK4 (Coyote) and / or mods required to the PS pump to achieve the proper pressure for the AGR rack? I previously purchased an AGR PS rack and I am considering changing out the manual rack at some point and I would like to source the proper pump and mounting brackets etc.

Thx

I see that AGR recommends 1000 psi for their racks. They have three pumps listed. Saginaw is a better, quieter pump than the usual ford mustang units so I would go w/ the Saginaw TC pump. You might check w/ mark at Breeze to see what the pressure is on his pump. He has several varieties and mounts for either side of the engine. It is easy to cut the spring to reduce the pressure, but it would be hard to measure the actual pressure.

I matched a KRC aluminum pump for my AGR rack. It's a bit on the expensive side, but pressure is adjustable, and it should last just about forever.

Great, thanks for the feedback. I will look into both recommendations.
