The waiting IS the hardest part
Build school back in early February. Ordered right after that. It was supposed to be on a Stewart truck this week, but has been delayed until next week...
At least I do have my drivetrain stuff...a buddy is coming this weekend with his engine hoist and we'll mate up the engine/tranny/bellhousing and get the hydraulic clutch bits set up.

What's your delivery date now ? Make sure to take picks, waiting is hard but its worth it

Don't know for sure. The just told me it will be on next week's truck and there are probably a couple ahead of me on the route...I'm in VA and there's one going to to MD and another to VA in next week's truck.

I know you think you know this but you really don't. Wait for a huge change for the better in your entire life. You are now part of a group of absolutely fantastic people. BTW, where are you. Come on bud, get that signature line updated. There are a ton of us around DC on both the Va and Md side. Have you come across the Capitol Area Cobra Club yet?

Get on there and keep your screen name the same as here. The fun starts real soon.

Not only that but he must have been familiar with Lucas electrics when he recorded "Straight into Darkness" and "Breakdown".

I'm between Roanoke and Blacksburg, so unfortunately not really convenient to DC.

and now they say not loaded until Monday.
I better get this thing by the end of next week. I have a friend coming with hopes of making 3-day-weekend progress.

LOL.
Soon you'll be, "running down a dream" saying, "you got lucky". Just don't "breakdown" when you're done, "spike".

Well, it looks like it will make it for the weekend.
Truck driver called earlier this afternoon and thinks he'll be at my house between noon and 2pm Friday.
Communication from FF and Stewart throughout this process has been pretty disappointing, but at least stuff is finally about to happen!

Well, it did come Friday. Delivery was an adventure as I live kinda in the middle of nowhere and have a driveway that's 3/8 mile long and goes 200' up in elevation of the last 2/3 of it.
Ended up doing an exchange to my trailer at the bottom of my driveway on the flat-ish part. It took a while for various reasons, but it got done.
Good progress over the long weekend and really enjoying it. :)
