So I read in one of the Build Tip Threads its a good idea to get a Picture in the garage of what the finished car will look like and right down your build Plan ... so you can stay focus and have a big carrot dangling there to keep you motivated and keep you from contstant second guessing your build plan.

I know Exactly how I want this car to look when finished!!!! At least in my Head... So I searched and found a nice Photo of a Car that is the exact same color and 15 inch wheel setup I want to use, with the options I want, like no bumpers...etc. then I'm pretty handy with Photoshop and Design so I made the visual changes I want to make like Black Exhaust added the Meatballs with # 98 on side and hood exactly like I want it to look! then Made a cool Charcoal background and tossed in the FF Logo and Caroll's Signature to round it out.

Turned out pretty good, This is exactly how I envision the final product to look.... We'll see at the end of the build how close I get?

Anyway, thought I would share with the group!

I already have this as my Screen BG on all my Computers / Ipad to help me keep an eye on the prize!

My build starts in July!

Cheers.

If that doesn't motivate you, I don't know what will!

Yes I believe so, or at least that's what I have seen others here refer to them as Meatballs...

I've been trying to decide whether to use vinyl meatballs or incorporate a white circle in paint.

Looks great. Like everything about it except the huge signature. He was not a friend of FFR in case you didn't know. His name next to the FFR logo is a bit of an oxymoron. Just sayin'

HaHa, no did not know there was bad blood, I knew they were not allowed to call the Roadsters a Cobra..etc and that Caroll was in bed with Superformance...

Either way he was the man behind the car regardless of what kit it comes from...

I agree. Better. Nice artwork and should be an awesome build. Have a great time with it. It will probably be one of the most challenging things you've done, but also the most rewarding.

Thats awesome. I would get it printed out large scale and hang it in the garage.

Much better! Very nice - then again hard to not like. FFR provide a great canvas!

That's cool - I actually have a die-cast version that I painted the color I wanted my car... sits on my desk at work and inspires me.
