Building a new FF Roadster? Want to build with a BIG Block? I have what you need! I have a Ford 390fe side oiler built up with aluminum Edelbrock Heads, intake and a Holly 650 double pump carb with MSD ignition (coil and rotor). Motor has never been in a car since it was built. The engine turns. Asking $4,500. :cool: Will post pics later.....

Can you please clarify what you mean by the phrase above? Is this a side-oiler block that has been sleeved down, or is it a 390 block that has had oil system modifications?

I could see how you could sleeve down a side oiler block to a 4.05 390 bore, but why?

I understand doing the oil mods needed to all FE's, but thats to a center-oiler block. I don't understand how you can modify a FE center-oiler block to be a side oiler, and they didn't make any 390 side-oilers that I'm aware of.

I think the reason he asked the question is because that what you said you had for sale... a 390 side oiler. Read your own add.
