Stopping by to say hi, as we'll be spending a lot more time here in the upcoming months.
Tamra (username: "Tamra" ..go figure!) and I just put down our deposit for a 818S after a factory visit yesterday.

We're beginning the process of WRX shopping now, with a kit arrival date scheduled for late October.

We're currently a Mazda family, with a '97 Miata that runs ES for autocross (dual driven, she's frequently faster!), her daily, a '13 Skyactiv 3, and mine, an '08 mazdaspeed3.
Looking forward to joining the FFR group!

Andrew

Hi This is Dave in West Springfield MA. My donor car is completely stripped down. Just trying to find out best way to scrap the remaining metal. If I take it to an auto recycler they need the title. So I may have to chop it into pieces and bring to scrap metal yard. My pick up date for the kit is June 21st.
I have two grown sons, one lives in CT so I may try to see which state is less of a pain when it comes to registering the 818s.
Still trying to find out what wheel and tire combinations will work. Seems like FFR limits your front tire diameter to 24in and back tire diameter should be close to stock so the speedometer is correct. Any ideas for wheels & tires?
