Ok since it is hard to keep up with everything on this site I just wanted to see who else was building who resides in Texas. I'm in the dfw area and think it would be great to meet fellow builders as well as "see" where we are headed. What stage of the build are you at? I'm expecting delivery sometime between may 16-19th on a 818s. I did alright for a while keeping up with new build threads but know I missed quite a few. Looking forward to good times. Once we all have our cars built we can show up in force!

I'm located down at Fort Hood but visit the DFW area monthly to visit family. I have a build thread started.

Cool Jason, I remember taking with you at some point. I'll check out your thread.

I am in Houston. My 818s is scheduled to ship in late September 2014. I just won a 2006 WRX wagon with 54k miles on Copart this week. Looking forward to getting started on the donor car!

I'm in Kingwood (77339) near Houston's IAH airport. My build of # 18 is mechanically complete (no body yet) and I am currently about 80% done dieting and installing the wiring harness...almost go-kart time unless I've screwed up some wiring.

Anyone in or visiting Houston is welcome to come and look and chat....and, who knows,....help!

PM me anytime.

If any of you are building street cars, please document the process you go through to inspect, title, and register the 818 in Texas.

I am and I'm pretty sure one person already has one registered in Texas. I remember seeing a post somewhere. Also I'll just put this out there. Catted exhaust or catless?

I'm expecting my 818S in September. I'm in North Houston, a few miles North of the big airport.

Working on overhauling a WRX wagon as a taster, just to see if I think I'm up to doing an 818. Going ok so far, but I had a few months of nothing, but trying to do a little bit every day.
