Can you please tell me where on my cobra replica that I am suppose to mount the FF metal plate with my ID Serial Number that came with my Mk4 Roadster kit car? I am ready for the inspection in the state of FL and do not know where to mount it. Thanks for your help.

You can put it anywhere you want. What the MV folks want to see is the stamped numbers on the 2X2 x-member under and to the left of the steering wheel; at least most states do.

Or leave it off if you like. It is not functional or required. (at least in my state and to the best of my knowledge).

The most popular place I have seen it mounted is on the drivers side footbox cover. Like said above it is probably your choice and not a requirement (at least not in California). Maybe someone from Florida can share some insight, Mark are you out there?
